Updated Jan 2006: The pictures below indicate the state of the amplifier at the end of the fall semester. The machined aluminum enclosure is completed, and all of the power amplifiers work reliably. All that remains is to complete the preamplifier and tone controls, which will probably be done as part of the E71 DSP class using an Analog Devices Blackfin DSP development board. The analog preamplifier that was hastily designed during the last week of the semester did not (unsurprisingly) give the performance desired.
